Indigenous Engagement

This business unit will provide specialist services to assist clients in the engagement with Indigenous businesses:

> By providing an Aboriginal contracting solution with both direct management or self-perform delivery models.

> By facilitating an opportunity to utilise and manage other Aboriginal businesses to deliver both project and Aboriginal employment (local), training and business outcomes.

> As a business preference we would engage other Aboriginal contractors and suppliers to work in partnership or under contract to successfully deliver project outcomes.


Japal Village

Subcontract with McNally Mining & Resources on the Japal Village install works.

FMG West Canning Basin Raw Water Pipeline

West Canning Raw Water Pipeline access works for FMG. We are building a road from Iron Bridge to Pardoo at the WCB.

FMG West Canning Basin Earthworks

Track building and maintenance of 100km access tracks; Exploration Camp and laydown clearing; drill pads and containment bunds preparation for production bores, rehabilitation works and handover drill pads and dust suppression.

Pippingarra Road

Bulk Earthworks Access Roads and Infrastructure Project – sub-contract to MACA for the Pippingarra Road – clearing, topsoil removal and earthworks.

Brenden Taylor

Managing Director

Brenden has strong traditional and culture ties in the Pilbara, Mid West and South West regions of WA. Brenden has worked in the mining industry for 20 years in a range of roles, starting in 2002 as an apprentice Mechanical Fitter at the HBI Plant in Port Hedland and the RGP 5 Rail duplication project with BHP Billiton. Brenden then went on to work with Rio Tinto for a number of years focusing on maintenance fitting and shutdown supervising. Brenden has a keen understanding of mining industry requirements.

Barry Taylor

General Manager

Barry was the inaugural founder and Director of Ngarda Civil Mining Pty Ltd when it was formed in 2001. He was appointed Executive Chair of the company in August 2006. Ngarda was regarded as a unique commercially competitive and financially stable earthmoving company that has set an Australian benchmark for Indigenous training and employment programs Barry bring specialist engagement and his business network is second to none.

Alex Duncan-Kemp

Operations Manager

Alex is a qualified mining engineer with over 20 years experience in the industry, working with both clients and contractors. He has over 10 years experience in management roles. He provides Cundaline with engineering, estimation and cost control services and provides assistance with project management and documentation
